Our committees

The strength of Ceva Wildlife Research Fund lies in the expertise of those who support it.
An advisory committee and a network of experts from Ceva Santé Animale support the endowment fund’s team to ensure the scientific quality and operational impact of every project it supports.

An advisory committee

Role and Functioning

The Advisory Committee brings together experts dedicated to evaluating and monitoring projects submitted to and supported by Ceva Wildlife Research Fund. It meets several times a year and may include guest members depending on the projects on the agenda.

It evaluates the project proposals received and makes recommendations based on five criteria:

  • Strategic alignment with the mission of Ceva Wildlife Research Fund,
  • Reliability of partners,
  • Project feasibility,
  • Expected impacts and deliverables,
  • Budget and timeline.

It also monitors project progress and ensures that funds are used appropriately and effectively.

Ceva Santé Animale contributors

Ceva Wildlife Research Fund benefits from a unique global presence - that of Ceva Santé Animale - with more than 7,200 employees in 47 countries. Among them are animal health experts who voluntarily choose to get involved in wildlife preservation. Selected based on their expertise and the specific needs of each project, they provide scientific and technical insight—and sometimes, from their home countries, offer operational support in close collaboration with project leaders.

But Ceva Santé Animale’s commitment doesn’t stop there. Beyond scientific expertise, support functions (IT, logistics, customs, transportation, communications, and human resources) also make a tangible contribution to the fund’s smooth operation. This is a form of skills-based philanthropy where each employee puts their professional expertise to work for a mission that extends beyond the company’s scope.
